Ivy Roberts is a multimedia producer and educator. She specializes in digital media including video, web, and interactive technologies. Ivy is an avid critic and researcher of media and culture as well. She believes that artistic practice cannot be separated from theory and criticism. Realism, postmodernism, and simulation are at the heart of her approach to the media.
Her media skills include but are not limited to: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, DVD Studio Pro, digital videography and photography, web design and programming.
Research interests: include dead media, locative media, mixed reality, hyperreality, aesthetic philosophy.
Currently located in Keene, NH, she works at Keene State College and the University of Maryland.
